It's official! Roc Nation took to social media to confirm 4:44 is actually a Jay Z album. Following a couple of weeks of speculations, we finally have a word from a reliable source and not just another piece to the rumor puzzle.
As it has been previously confirmed, 4:44is a documentary that is a collaboration between Tidal and Sprint, and starring Mahershala Ali, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danny Glover. Earlier today, we learned that Jay will provide at least a soundtrack to the film as he previewed the song "Adnis."
Eventually, Roc Nation took to their Twitter account to reveal, ".@S_C_just announced '4:44', his new album available to @TIDALHiFi & @Sprintcustomers on 6/30.Sprint.TIDAL.com #TIDALXSprint"
As per the tweet, the album will drop June 30 for subscribers of Sprint or Jay Z’s Tidal platform through what’s pitched as a first-of-its-kind partnership between both companies.
