Authorities in Guangzhou are investigating a "virgin forest" erected atop a residential building.

According to the Guangzhou Daily, the forest covers the top three floors of a building on Lin Road East, and is believed to have been installed illegally.

The structure draws to mind the grass covered "hobbit hole" illegally built by a Beijing millionaire on top of his penthouse.
